In August 2008, we take a family road trip to Copper Canyon, Mexico and west Texas.

In July 2008, Marie and I drive up to Iowa to join the Hawkeye Bicycle Association for RAGBRAI.

In June/July 2008, I travel through Spain and France, catching such sporting events as the EuroCup, Tour de France and the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona during the San Fermin Festival.

In June 2008, I take a road trip with our University of Houston ASCE student chapter to Montreal to compete in the National ASCE Concrete Canoe Competition.

In May/June 2008, mom and dad travel with me to Brazil to watch me compete at Ironman Brazil on Florianopolis Island. We go to see the Itaipu Dam and Iguazu falls then visit the Fonsecas in Sao Paulo. Caio travels with us to Rio de Janeiro and arranges an amazing stay for me at Juma Lodge in the Amazon Rainforest, then I tour Brasilia.

In May/June 2008, Lisa graduates from Kellogg University with a Masters of Business and I graduate from The University of Houston with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering.
